Bought 10/21. Wife has limited strength and this works for her. It's lightweight and easy for her to use.
Suction power is good, battery life is good for a couple of bigger rooms plus a couple of small ones. We do have a regular Hoover vacuum that I use upstairs so she does not use it for the whole house.
As the vacuum fixer/maintainer of the house , I am impressed by how easy it is to unclog. Why would I be unclogging it you may ask? My wife has very long hair and we have dogs. The wife will drive the vacuum until it literally refuses to pick up anything. The good suction of the vacuum means that it can have a blockage of several inches in the main tube. Not only does the vacuum come apart easily, the instructions are actually printed on the main tube of the vacuum. I don't have to unclog it so often that I remember how I did last time but there is no need to remember as the instructions are right there.
Both batteries still work and the vacuum is going strong. (I hope I didn't just jinx it)

There's a trick to this...
UPDATE: After owning this vacuum for 6 months, I can confirm it out cleans my previous Shark Apex. We were worried that it might not be picking up as much dirt because it's cordless, I'm no longer worried. Every 6 months we also do a deep carpet clean with a rug doctor. Last week during the clean we noticed the water was not nearly as dark as it had been during previous washes and it took much less time to get a "clear" water out of the carpet. We're talking 1.5 hours vs the normal 3 to 3.5 for the whole house. We've made no changes other than the purchase of the Hoover. Still love the fresh vacuum lines! Follow the steps below and I'm sure you'll love it too. To those worried about the time on the battery, I'm able to get our 3 floor 1,600 Square Foot (fully carpeted) Townhome done using both batteries with no problem, and I get the same results as the picture every time. (Full disclosure, I also own the blade+ cordless for use on stairs, edges and as a spiderweb chaser. Both products and the dual fast charger cost me less than purchasing a new shark and were half the price of a Dyson anything. And I got a third battery with the blade that also works on this if needed! I keep the blade on our top floor.)Been a fan of Hover products for a long time, I blame my Grandmother, it's all she ever bought. Unfortunately, I purchased the React a few years ago and it sent me running from the brand. But I was lured back with the promise of a wireless Vac... with a bag! At first, I was unimpressed. The carpet grooming was nice, which I've always expected from hoover, but the battery life was a bit... meh. Then I discovered the trick. See, I'm one of those people that will vacuum the living room twice, sometimes 3 times, to really get the carpet looking fresh. I was doing this on high, more suction = better clean right? Not always. So if you're having a problem like I was, try doing a first pass on high and a second pass on the low setting. You'll get the same result and a great clean. I can get the entire second, fully carpeted, floor of my house done with one battery and it looks great. I have a dog and she likes to leave her hair everywhere. It's great at picking up her hair.
